  11. Once in a while, not often.... I get disconnected violently in
  12. some manner while on line.  Sometimes I am on CHAT directly with
  13. another computer, sometimes I am on the Internet.  
  14. After the disconnection, I cannot get my modem to hang up.  I
  15. cannot reset it.  I have tried everything.  The only way I can
  16. get it to reset is to go completely out to the C:> prompt, turn
  17. OFF my computer for a minute or two, and then turn it on.  Even a
  18. soft reboot will not reset the modem.
  19. Is there software that can be run in a situation like this, to
  20. reset the modem when it is still on-line but disconnected from
  21. it's source?
